Moments of the Past

At night when I'm alone, come to my mind

moments of the past

In the quietude of the night it's clearly coming

Everytime I thought of those wonderful moments I don't want it to last

Hoping that I'll bring it even when I'm dreaming 

Wonderful and joyful moments running in my mind

Moment when I'm with you and our young children

Those days when fate was kind

I've lived as if I'm in heaven 

Laughters fill our haven

Children running playfully around

Happiness then is heaven

I've no notion yet that working abroad I'm bound 

Time comes for me to leave

Tears falling on your faces

To work abroad to make you live

Through sacrifice earn God's graces 

My kids grew when I'm away

I've not given them enough of my hugs and kisses

Now they have their own family

Their kiddies hearts I so misses 

Time changed them in maturity

It seems they don't need anymore my hugs and kisses

Being gone for a long time is a pity

May their love of their father still in their hearts, I so wishes 

Only wonderful moments of the past remain

I've decided to be away from them again

Though my decision was to me heartache and pain

God's Will in serenity my health mentally and physically to regain
