Snow falling white birch forest

Having flown around the world,

I am watching now, snow falling 

on white birch forest in Poland 

Every soul who leaves their home

will miss the land they used to roam. 

I am missing only sunshine of Jeju city 

There is nothing more precious present than sunshine

Sunshine of autumn of Jeju city is gorgeous 

You’ll never know how much I love sunshine

Nothing can make me happy when skies are gray

I am longing for the sun while watching snow falling 

on white birch forest in Poland

Snowflakes are falling steadily on snow-covered birch trees

সাদা বার্চ বনে তুষারপাত

বিশ্বজুড়ে উড়ে বেড়ানোর পর,

আমি এখন দেখছি, পোল্যান্ডের সাদা বার্চ বনে তুষারপাত

যে কেউ তাদের বাড়ি ছেড়ে গেলে

সেই জমির অভাব অনুভব করবে, যেখানে তারা ঘুরে বেড়াত।

আমি কেবল জেজু শহরের রোদের অভাব অনুভব করছি

সূর্যের চেয়ে মূল্যবান উপহার আর কিছু নেই

জেজু শহরের শরতের রোদের আলো অসাধারণ

তোমরা কখনই জানতে পারবে না আমি রোদ কতটা ভালোবাসি

আকাশ ধূসর হলে কিছুই আমাকে খুশি করতে পারে না 

তুষারপাত দেখতে দেখতে আমি পোল্যান্ডের সাদা বার্চ বনে

সূর্য দেখার জন্য আকুল হয়ে আছি

তুষার অবিরাম পড়ছে তুষারপাতে ঢাকা বার্চ গাছে 

Perfect Moment

The flower petals, drenched in rain,

Frail yet beautiful they remain.

Once dazzling in the radiant light,

Now they fall in humble flight,

To yield the abundance of fruit,

In their humble form they take root.

Everything follows the laws of change,

Flowing without exception

Within the falling petals, one can see,

The seeds of fruit, destined to be.

A perfect moment passes with a tinge of sorrow,

While everything holds the beauty of tomorrow.

In the pursuit of bountiful life’s embrace,

Flower petals willingly fall, leaving no trace.

নিষ্কলুষ মুহূর্ত   

বৃষ্টিতে ভিজে ফুলের পাপড়ি,

দুর্বল হয়ে যায় তবু ও সুন্দর।

একসময় উজ্জ্বল আলোয় ঝলমল করত,

এখন তারা দুর্বল। 

প্রচুর ফল উৎপাদনের জন্য,

নমনীয় আকারে তারা শিকড় ধারণ করে।

সবকিছুই পরিবর্তনের নিয়ম মেনে চলে,

ব্যতিক্রম ছাড়াই প্রবাহিত হচ্ছে।

পড়ে যাওয়া পাপড়ির মধ্যে, কেউ দেখতে পায়,

আগামী দিনের ফলের বীজ।

একটি নিখুঁত মুহূর্ত দুঃখের আভা নিয়ে কেটে যায়,

তথাপি, সবকিছুই আগামীকালের সৌন্দর্য ধারণ করে।

প্রাচুর্যপূর্ণ জীবনের আলিঙ্গনের আশায়,

ফুলের পাপড়ি স্বেচ্ছায় ঝরে পড়ে, কোন চিহ্ন না রেখে। 

Sounds of Bamboo Forest

No matter how strong the wind blows,

the green forest never crumbles.

When the wind passes by,

the green forest stands tall and proud,

inspiring admiration.

The sounds of bamboo forest,

echo through the trees,

whispers of wisdom and peace,

carried on the gentle breeze.

A symphony of rustling leaves,

Soft words win hard hearts,

a melody of harmony,

ringing in the bamboo forest glen.

So let the forest speak to you,

let its wisdom guide your way,

listen to the sounds of bamboo,

and find peace in each passing day.

বাঁশ বনের শব্দ

যত জোরেই বাতাস বয়ে যাক না কেন,

সবুজ বন কখনও ভেঙে পড়ে না। 

যখন বাতাস পাশ দিয়ে চলে যায়, 

সবুজ বন, গর্বিত মাথা উঁচু কর, দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে,

প্রশংসার উৎস হয়ে।

গাছের মধ্য দিয়ে

প্রতিধ্বনিত হয় বাঁশবনের শব্দ,

মৃদু বাতাসে, প্রজ্ঞা ও শান্তির গুঞ্জন।

ঝরা পাতার সিম্ফনির কোমল শব্দ

কঠিন হৃদয় জয় করে,

সম্প্রীতির সুর বাজে বাঁশ বনের গ্লেনে । 

তাই, বন কে তোমার সাথে কথা বলতে দাও,

তার জ্ঞান দিয়ে তোমাকে পথ দেখাতে দাও,

বাঁশের শব্দ শোনো, 

এবং প্রতিটি দিন শান্তি খুঁজে পাও।

Short Biography 

Poet Dr. Kang, Byeong-Cheol is a Korean author and poet, born in Jeju City, South Korea, in 1964. He began writing in 1993, publishing his first short story, “Song of Shuba,” at the age of twenty-nine. He released a collection of short stories in 2005 and has since won four literature awards and published more than eight books. From 2009 to 2014, he served as a member of The Writers in Prison Committee (WiPC) of PEN International. Additionally, he worked as an editorial writer for NewJejuIlbo, a newspaper in Jeju City, Korea. He holds a PhD in Political Science and currently serves as the Vice President of The Korean Institute for Peace and Cooperation. Moreover, he holds the position of founding President of the Korean Association of World Literature.

কবি ডঃ কাং, বাইয়ং-চিওল একজন কোরিয়ান লেখক এবং কবি, যিনি ১৯৬৪ সালে দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার জেজু শহরে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তিনি ১৯৯৩ সালে লেখালেখি শুরু করেন, ঊনত্রিশ বছর বয়সে তার প্রথম ছোটগল্প “সং অফ শুবা” প্রকাশ করেন। ২০০৫ সালে তিনি একটি ছোটগল্প সংকলন প্রকাশ করেন এবং এরপর থেকে চারটি সাহিত্য পুরষ্কার জিতেছেন এবং আটটিরও বেশি বই প্রকাশ করেছেন। ২০০৯ থেকে ২০১৪ সাল পর্যন্ত তিনি পেন ইন্টারন্যাশনালের দ্য রাইটার্স ইন প্রিজন কমিটির (ওয়াইপিসি) সদস্য হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। এছাড়াও, তিনি কোরিয়ার জেজু সিটির একটি সংবাদপত্র নিউজেজুলবোর সম্পাদকীয় লেখক হিসেবেও কাজ করেন। তিনি রাষ্ট্রবিজ্ঞানে পিএইচডি ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেছেন এবং বর্তমানে কোরিয়ান ইনস্টিটিউট ফর পিস অ্যান্ড কোঅপারেশনের ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন। তাছাড়া, তিনি কোরিয়ান অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অফ ওয়ার্ল্ড লিটারেচারের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা সভাপতির পদে অধিষ্ঠিত।
